It's time to celebrate!

My calendar tells me that April is almost upon us, and that means it's time to party! This is the most wonderful time of the year because of the momentous occasion that occurs in early April. I refer, of course, to International Trombone Week, April 2-9. (What did you think I meant?) The week (supersized to 8 days) is full of trombone recitals, concerts and other events worldwide.

So let's celebrate the rich history of the most majestic of instruments by listening to some Christian Lindberg, or J.J. Johnson, or Tom Malone. (Or even Grandpa Huxtable on the Cosby Show). Remember to send some love to the trombonists in your life.
