Who could that be at this hour?

Monday night a little after 9:00, I was upstairs getting ready for bed and Dawn was downstairs watching a little television when the telephone rang. My first thought, of course, was, "Who could that be at this hour?". Then I assumed that it was the school looking for a substitute teacher for the next day. Whatever, I'm not going to answer. I would let Dawn decide to answer after checking the caller ID. She obviously answered the call since it stopped ringing. I figured I would ask her about it when she came to bed. However, she came up a little sooner than I expected, laughing to herself. She then explained what the call was. Something like this:

Dawn: Hello?
Woman: Is this Dawn?
D: Yes...
W: Is your husband Darin LeMan? (She pronounced it the French way. She probably pronounced Darin with two R's and an E, but you can't really tell on the phone)
D: Yes... (not recognizing the voice and getting confused)
W: I need to talk to him, I just found out I'm pregnant.
D: EXCUSE ME???
W: That's right, honey, you need to know that your husband's cheating on you!
D: OKAY! (click)

For the record, I have no idea who that person was. The caller ID came up with no number so I can't even call her back if I wanted to. Dawn and I both found the whole thing pretty hilarious. I sure hope she finds the right guy soon!
